Frances Folsom Cleveland was the youngest woman to become First Lady of the United States, at age 21, when she wed President Grover Cleveland. The President has been a family friend of the Folsoms, and knew “Frank” since she was just a baby. At 49, he was more than twice her age when they married. Theirs was the only White House wedding to have ever taken place. College educated, Frances went on to become a fashionable and immensely popular first lady.
